Terms of use

Last updated

These terms apply when you use The Atlas Index. By using the site, you agree to them.

Who runs the site

The Atlas Index is run by Benjamin Morgan in the United Kingdom. Contact: info@benjmorgan.com. The site is free to use.

Using the site

You may use the site for your own personal, non-commercial purposes. Please don’t:

Search engines may index the pages our robots.txt file allows.

Your account

You can sign in with Apple, Google, Microsoft or an email address. Keep your sign-in secure. We may suspend or close accounts that break these terms. To close your account, email us from the address you sign in with.

Lists you share

You’re responsible for what you write in your lists’ names and descriptions. Anyone with the link can see a list that is Shared via link or Public, and signed-in visitors can copy it. Don’t include other people’s personal information or anything unlawful or offensive. We may remove content that breaks these terms. You keep your rights in what you write, and you allow us to store and show it so the site can work.

Information on the site

We compile places and awards from published award lists and other sources, including place-data providers. Information can be wrong or out of date, so check details such as opening hours and bookings with the place itself. If you spot a mistake, use Report an issue on the place.

Awards and trademarks

Award names and logos belong to their owners. Showing them doesn’t mean those organisations endorse The Atlas Index.

Other websites

Links to places’ websites, directions and other services take you to sites we don’t control, and their own terms apply. Any booking is between you and the place or booking service.

The service

We provide the site “as is”. We may change, suspend or withdraw it, or any part of it, at any time, and we don’t promise it will always be available or free of errors.

Our responsibility to you

Privacy

Our Privacy notice explains how we use personal data and which cookies the site sets.

Changes to these terms

When we change these terms, we’ll update the date at the top.
